The folks over at Lionsgate have provided us with a high-energy, high-octane new television spot for their upcoming release Crank: High Voltage, starring Jason Statham.

Lionsgate is out in full force promoting their upcoming actioner Crank: High Voltage, including a little bit of love via the micro-blogging site Twitter. In related news, this redband trailer has boobs in it.

Arnold Schwarzenegger and Danny Trejo have both been announced as joining Sylvester Stallone’s The Expendables. To that I can only say… sweet. And to that I can only add… it’s not too late Jean Claude! Apologize for your egotistical idiocy and get your ass to South America! Anyway…

Lock your doors and bust out your flashlights because the world as we know it is coming to an end: Jean-Claude Van Damme has turned The Expendables because he wasn’t given enough detail about his character or the story.

As if we needed them, the makers of Crank 2 have given us seven more reasons not to take their movie seriously. Now in poster form!

Our good friend Christopher M. hit us once again this weekend with another round of pictures for a somewhat highly anticipated movie, Crank 2: High Voltage. Recently we showed you the film’s redband sizzle reel (since removed) and the first official trailer, both of which showed off some of the film’s wild action.

If you thought the first sizzle reel for Crank 2: High Voltage a few weeks back was awesome, wait until you see finished footage set to music…

Not exactly how we missed it a few months back, but it appears that we are way late in reporting that Forest Whitaker is circling the wagons on Sly Stallone’s hotly anticipated thriller The Expendables.

It has been a really slow news week yes, but this should excite the adrenaline junkies among you. A new promotional video for Crank 2 has dropped on the web.

Many of you may look upon Sylvester Stallone’s upcoming action epic The Expendables as a lesser version of Quentin Tarantino’s Ingloryhole Bastards. If so, you are wrong. For my money, The Expendables looks to be the more interesting of the two.

How do we fix a film that is too French? We can start with less turtlenecks…and 50 Cent.

Nothing says adrenaline-filled like Jason Statham as Frank Martin, driving fast and kicking the hell out of groups of bad guys at a time. And in Transporter 3, he will be looking to do much of the same.

I would be willing to go out on a limb and say that the folks over at Lionsgate, the studio currently distributing Transporter 3 here in the states, are getting a little lazy with the marketing.

Lionsgate has dropped off a few new Statham-infused photos in my inbox. One is from Transporter 3 and the other is from Crank 2. I will let you guess which one is from which film.

The filmmakers might have been drinking while making Death Race. Why not join them?
