Switching between sweeping location shots and antique newspaper clippings, this fun short from the Justin and Jared Varava channels Ken Burns by way of Monty Python to take a slightly existential, slightly silly look at a tumbleweed that won’t tumble. It’s innovative while sticking to the usual rules of the genre, and it proves once again that the desert west is perfect for dry humor. What will it cost you? Only 6 minutes. Skip work.
