I have not been kind to Uwe Boll in the past. But to be fair, he has not been kind to us. He has had plenty of opportunity to make decent films. Yet, he continues to feed us bad cinema, and his latest effort is In the Name of the King.

Boll has released a video of himself responding to the phenomenon sweeping the Internet, and it’s a doozie! The rant makes him look like a low-rent James Bond villain, or at least a maniacal John McCain in a non-televised debate.

Say what you want about Uwe Boll, but you’ve got to admit the guy is still making movies. Don’t believe us? Now’s your chance to see for yourself by winning your own copy of his latest movie, In the Name of the King.

To many movie fans out there, this news is paramount, akin to the classic news stories of Truman’s defeat over Dewey, man landing on the moon and the Japanese surrender to end World War II.

Is it any surprise that this film wasn’t screened for any critic, anywhere in the free world? It’s not that you’d expect anything decent to come from Uwe Boll, but even I was unprepared for the level of suckage this movie produced.
