In a career spanning decades, it’s difficult to imagine he’s never been up for one, but if he had to choose a role better suited for it, he couldn’t have done much better than Dicky Eklund in The Fighter. He pours himself into the role so well that it seems likely that the method actor might have gotten addicted to crack just to nail the role down from the inside.
