I recently had the opportunity to sit down and be guided through the hottest DVD of the summer, that is, of course, the HD-DVD Transformers. If you missed this $650 million dollar roller coaster, hello and welcome back from your coma. The team behind this DVD are calling it the “signature DVD of the year” and let me tell you something. I agree.

If you are still wondering why you should be excited about today, you need to get a clue. Today is the day that Transformers, the biggest movie of the summer that wasn’t another crappy sequel, drops on DVD, and HD-DVD, and Special Edition DVD and various other versions.
