With all two horror releases this weekend, you’d think it was Halloween. But you should know better, since no horror is ever released when it makes sense.

With Rob Zombie’s Halloween II and the fourth installment in the Final Destination series out in theaters this weekend, FSR’s resident Devil’s Advocate Josh Radde and guest Adam Sweeney decided not to debate between the two franchises, but rather: what is the best horror film of the decade?

It turned out my premonition about who would finish first at the box office this weekend was pretty accurate, as The Final Destination took the top spot with a haul of $28 million.

The zombie film you may not know about. Long before Romero, there was Tourneur, a director that mastered the art of suspense and terror without any special effects.
