After first seeing it at the San Diego Comic-Con, Robert Fure dances with Give ‘Em Hell Malone one more time on Blu-ray to see how the film holds up.

This week, I’m showing off my dedication to the cause. I’m taking time away from my very, very (very) busy Sundance schedule to drop another edition of This Week in Blu-ray.

Rob Hunter loves movies. And as a test to see if anyone actually reads these intros he’s hidden a contest within the post. One lucky winner will win a brand new copy of A&E’s 3-disc set of The Sherlock Holmes Collection starring Peter Cushing. It collects the five surviving episodes of the 1960′s BBC series, and fans of the great detective will not be disappointed.

Robert Fure just checked in with me once again with yet another video blog from his hotel room in San Diego. This time he’s got a preview/review of some raw footage that was shown Saturday night for Give ‘Em Hell, Malone, starring Thomas Jane and Ving Rhames.

Not too long ago we showed you a promo trailer for Give ‘Em Hell Malone and were soon to discover that it was an entertaining, but also illegal copy. This time around we have yet another trailer, and even though it was sent to us by reader PatientZero, we believe it to be the official trailer for the film.

Not too long ago we wrote here and there about Thomas Jane’s upcoming crime drama, a noir piece known as Give ‘Em Hell Malone. Now we’ve got two new posters to show you.

Thomas Jane is currently in post production on at least two films, one of which he’s directing. For most actors that would be enough for one calendar year, but Jane apparently likes to work. A lot. So his 2009 has just gotten even busier…
