One of the last treats of Comic-Con 2008 was the panel for the upcoming horror reboot Friday the 13th. And now, thanks to the wonders of the interwebs, we have both a poster and a bit of footage from the panel.

The news spatters against the wall and its oh so beautiful! Nightmare on Elm Street! Jason Voorhees! Molly Hartley! It’s all inside!

Jason is coming back from the cinematic dead, and tonight we’ve got our first look at him — and the iconic muddy waters of Crystal Lake.

It was brought to my attention this evening that thanks to our excessive coverage of The Dark Knight, we have not made a post mentioning Michael Bay in over a week. And as any faithful FSR reader or well-bruised staffer will tell you — this is not acceptable.

The full event schedule for Comic-Con International 2008 has finally been released online via the official Comic-Con website. And just to give you a taste of what you should be looking out for, I have dug into the schedule and emerged with some of the can’t miss movie geek events.

Much of the talk around Comic-Con 2008 thus far has been about who is not coming. Thankfully, it appears that Warner Bros. is going to be a shiny beacon of light — delivering the main event.
