31 Days of Horror: High Tension
31 Days of Horror By Jorge Del Pinal on October 16, 2011 | Be the First To CommentWhen the calendar page turns to October, we Rejects have only one thought: horror. To celebrate this grandest and darkest of months, we’ll cover one excellent horror film a day for the entirety of the month. That’s 31 Days of Horror and 31 Films perfect for viewing on a dark, chilly, October night. If you, like us, love horror and Halloween, give us a Hell Yeah and keep coming every day this month for a new dose of adrenaline. Synopsis: College students Alex (Maïwenn Le Besco) and Marie (Cécile De France) journey into the French countryside with the intent of escaping the lure of partying and boys. They plan to focus on study while staying with Alex’s family in their quiet farm house. Unsurprisingly the picturesque country very quickly becomes frightening when an almost amusingly brutal killer terrorizes them.
Eyes Without a Vintage Trailer of the Day
Features By Cole Abaius on March 26, 2011 | Be the First To CommentEvery day, come rain or shine or internet tubes breaking, Film School Rejects showcases a trailer from the past. A Texas man was the recipient of the first face transplant done in the United States last week. Of course, the first face transplant done took place, appropriately, in France. It seems for years the French have been fascinated by removing and transmuting faces, and this trailer for the 1960 classic dark mystery film is the proof. If you thought modern day horror movies were twisted, you should see what they were up to fifty years ago. Check out the trailer for yourself:

In Development By Rob Hunter on September 10, 2008 | Be the First To CommentWes Anderson loves France enough to extend his stay at the Hotel Chevalier and remake a French film. Cranky antiques dealers are involved. Hopefully pretension won’t be.
