Welcome to This Week in Blu-ray, the never on-time FSR column that is, oddly enough, on time this week. Will this be the start of a wonderful new trend? I won’t make any promises.

$28 million for Obsessed? That much? Heck, I really don’t know why this movie made so much money. Maybe people just want to see stalker movies.

Ironically, Dito Montiel’s ‘Fighting’ would be a much better movie without all the fighting.

Neil leads a protest against the studios by refusing to see any of the movies out this week. Kevin suffers through The Soloist while he takes his kids to work (i.e., gets them out of school to see a movie) on Take Your Child to Work Day.

Summer movie season is about to begin — but that isn’t until next week. For now we’re left to deal with some releases that should draw moderate box office numbers.
