Normally, it would be pretty ridiculous to be excited about a film not due out until 2011, but since it’s still in the planning stage, we have some things we’d like to see make it into the script.

Film critic David Denby’s review didn’t completely denounce The Dark Knight, but it didn’t exactly praise it either. That said, why are fans calling for his head on a platter?

You would think that we would send our ninja spies out to get concept art and script pages from Transformers 2 or something, but no, we send them after the holy grail, never-before-seen footage from an upcoming episode of Ask a Ninja.

As fanboys across the country mobilize for a protest against the Weinstein Company and their release Superhero Movie, everyone else will be out there trying to pick something to see this weekend. Will the protests stop the big parody from taking the top spot? We have our doubts.

This afternoon, we received word from The Weinstein Company that the fanboys had one — or so it may seem. The studio sent out a press release saying that Fanboys was going to get a joint-DVD release, one with the cancer storyline and one without. It also explains that the company is “exploring options for its theatrical release.” — in other words, the film’s chances of theatrical release are pretty much dead.

One particular Hollywood mogul who is extremely fun to pick on is Harvey Weinstein, with his haughty swagger and his overblown sense of self-proclaimed greatness. Of course, you may already by aware of the now tense relationship between Weinstein and Star Wars fanboys, so the following is going to come as no surprise.
