Fan-made ‘Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2′ Teaser Trailer Has Everything
Movie News By Cole Abaius on April 18, 2011 | Comments (2)Update: Warners has confirmed that this trailer is not an official trailer. It’s fan made. No word yet on whether someone will hire whomever put it together though, because it looks great. Again, to make it clear, it’s not an official trailer for the movie. And now the original video has been taken down by the host site. Original post: Darkness. Foreboding. Wand fights. Explosions. Mobs of people running through the forest. Beachfront property. Dragons. Gingers kissing. Snape peeing himself. Yes, this teaser trailer for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 has everything except Danny Glover complaining about being too old. It just looks so damned good. If the excitement wasn’t at its peak yet, it will be soon. I have a feeling we’ll see more and more incredible stuff from the production leading up to July 15th (a day that cannot come fast enough). Check out the teaser for yourself. You might even get to see a sweet anti-smoking ad from the source site!
Make a Better ‘X-Men: First Class’ Poster, Win a Vintage X-Men Lithograph
Features By Cole Abaius on March 9, 2011 | Comments (6)There’s is no explanation for the atrociously bad X-Men: First Class posters that his the internet with a vengeance yesterday. Why Professor X’s head is popping out of his own blacked-out silhouette’s crotch is beyond comprehension. So we won’t even try. What we will try is a contest where you, dear reader, make a better version of the poster. Up for grabs is a prize that I’m thinking about keeping for myself: a 1999 Lithographic recreation of the first “X-Men” issue cover drawn by the insanely talented Alex Ross (which you can see below). Officially Cool: Movie Posters From An Alternate Universe
Features By Cole Abaius on October 26, 2010 | Be the First To CommentWhat if William Shatner had played Dare Devil in a 1970s exploitation flick? What if Alfred Hitchcock had gotten the idea for Halloween and made it with Kim Novak and Robert Mitchum? What if Mickey Rourke played Superman? These are the questions that haunt me in the moments just before I close my eyes to go to bed. Fortunately, someone else out there is even more obsessed with the possible worlds out there where Boris Karloff was Freddy Krueger (and the resulting movie posters).
