Short Film of the Day: ‘No Way Out’ is Classically Trained, Delightfully Bloody Horror
Features By Neil Miller on November 5, 2012 | Be the First To CommentWhy Watch? “Isolated in a place where twisted creatures torment him from the dark, a man desperately tries to find an escape.” From a director we’ve known for a while (Kristoffer Aaron Morgan) and a writer we know as well (Eric Vespe of Ain’t It Cool News fame), comes a bloody fun short starring an actor we follow on Twitter (A.J. Bowen). It’s hauntingly atmospheric and even if you’ve seen it already, you should probably watch it again. The work speaks for itself. What will it cost you? Only 9 blood-soaked minutes. Skip work. Casting Couch By Scott Beggs on October 20, 2010 | Be the First To CommentWe’ve reported on The Home before because of the shiver-inducing concept art created by WETA, and it looks like the show might finally be on the road to getting off the road at a secure location where they can start filming frightening things attacking senior citizens. The list of senior citizens now includes Oscar winner (and film nerd favorite) Louise Fletcher, Oscar winner Louis Gossett Jr, Ed Asner, and Fionnula Flanagan (a veteran of stage, screen, and the creepiest character on Lost). Plus, the production is in talks to secure both Brian Cox and Cloris Leachman.
