Brett Ratner insists he won’t water things down in his upcoming resurrection of the Beverly Hills Cop franchise. Are he and Eddie Murphy up to the challenge?

So sadly, it looks like Eddie Murphy hasn’t used up all of his credibility in Hollywood. Murphy will be pushing 50 when, according to Variety, he will attempt to reprise his role as Axel Foley from the popular Beverly Hills Cop films. I can just imagine Murphy standing in front of a mirror proclaiming, “If Sylvester Stallone, Bruce Willis and Harrison Ford can do it…So can I!”.
