Nicolas Cage has signed on to star in “Drive Angry”, a revenge movie directed by Patrick Lussier. Cage will star as a man chasing down the people who killed his wife and daughter, with the violence escalating with each death.

Another brief and confusing week for the Blu-ray Report, my friends. Once again I’ve been stuck waiting on review material, sifting through useless extras and pounding away at the eggnog.

By my estimation, every red-blooded American male has at least a little bit of interest in Jason Statham driving fast cars and leaving a ridiculous body count in his wake.

A remake of Roger Corman’s 1975 classic Death Race 2000 should be a no-brainer. Fast cars, loud guns, campy characters, and politically incorrect humor should be a recipe for guaranteed entertainment. So why do I get the feeling this year’s Death Race remake will be a no-brainer in a completely different way?
