You Might Get to See Brittany Murphy’s Final Film Soon
Movie News By Scott Beggs on December 5, 2012 | Be the First To CommentAt the very least, it’s finished. According to the LA Times, Something Wicked, an indie project with the ignoble distinction of being Brittany Murphy‘s last film appearance before her death in 2009, has been completed and is currently seeking distribution. The only problem is that the project has little going for it other than that distinction. Director Darin Scott has been behind the camera for a handful of middling flicks (Dark House, Caught Up), and Murphy was the only notable name in the cast. Even the synopsis, “As a young couple embarks upon their wedding plans, gruesome secrets from their past collide with sinister forces of the present to ensure these newlyweds do not live “happily-ever-after,” isn’t all that rousing — leaving this movie as little more than a curiosity. Maybe Murphy fans will rally for its release?
