Despite the various technological limitations that might have negatively impacted my first run with Clover, the friendly monster that absolutely impales Manhattan, I cannot say that this DVD is anything less than a must-have.
That crazy, still somewhat mysterious Cloverfield monster is on the verge of attacking the fine denizens of New York once again, this time on DVD. And considering the fact that so many of you saw it when it made its theatrical run, it is safe to assume that you are interested in checking it out again.
This is not as exciting as it would have been a month ago, but either way…
Paramount executives aren’t stupid, and their little film was in the green one day after it released.
“People will want to see this.”
“One fast-moving, roller coaster of a movie.”
In plastic, at least. Hasbro Toys has announced that they’ll be making a whopping 14″ version of the Cloverfield beastie which will go on sale on September 30th of this year.
We feel obligated to ask…
