There isn’t really much to say about this teaser trailer. The film is called High Kick Girl. I found it via Warren Ellis’ blog. It appears to be one big, beautiful slice of campy brilliance.
Daily Diversion: Slumdog Millionaire Remixed
Daily Diversion By Neil Miller on January 7, 2009 | Be the First To CommentThe folks at Addictive TV have long been cutting and recutting films left and right for the purposes of keeping us diverted and entertained. So it’s fitting that their recent remix of Slumdog Millionaire has made today’s Daily Diversion.
Daily Diversion: Gremlins Invade Your DVR
Daily Diversion By Neil Miller on January 6, 2009 | Comments (6)Any fan of good 80s horror is also, by the transitive property of fandom, a fan of Joe Dante’s 1984 film Gremlins. Because lets face it, Gremlins is a classic of sorts.
For Your Consideration: The Spirit. The Daily Diversion.
Daily Diversion By Neil Miller on January 5, 2009 | Be the First To CommentAs many of you may know, we are not big fans of beating dead horses around here. Then again, this little ad that TotalFilm worked up for The Spirit is less of a beat and more of a poke — a poke at one of the most awful films of 2008.
2008: The Cinescape. The Daily Diversion.
Daily Diversion By Neil Miller on January 2, 2009 | Comments (2)You may remember last year when one adventurous fan created 2007: A Year for Drama, a pretty cool little video montage of some of the year’s more memorable films. That same guy is back this year with 2008: The Cinescape, a similar montage set to Sigur Ros.

Daily Diversion By Neil Miller on December 31, 2008 | Comments (19)Need a good laugh for your New Year’s Eve afternoon? Check out the alternate ending for the movie Eagle Eye above, it is good for a chuckle.
Mac vs. PC: Transformers Style. The Daily Diversion.
Daily Diversion By Neil Miller on December 26, 2008 | Comments (10)Today’s Daily Diversion is a video that I very much wanted to share with you earlier in the week, but held off in favor of some Christmas-themed diversions. I wanted to share it because it’s all about Transformers and Macs…
Shitter Was Full. The Daily Diversion.
Daily Diversion By Neil Miller on December 24, 2008 | Comments (2)And in the spirit of all things Christmas, this being Christmas Eve and all, I’ve decided that a clip from my personal favorite holiday comedy is more than appropriate.
Denis Leary on Denis Leary. The Daily Diversion.
Daily Diversion By Neil Miller on December 17, 2008 | Comments (6)Today is Christmas come early for this journo, as I’ve had the chance to post both the season 2 premiere of Flight of the Conchords and a video that includes Denis Leary — save for having all of Watchmen on Hulu, this is the best scenario I could have thought of for a cold mid-December day.
Robots Finish the World War. The Daily Diversion.
Daily Diversion By Neil Miller on December 16, 2008 | Comments (2)Today’s Daily Diversion is a little offbeat, but isn’t that how we like it around here? It is a short film called World War, which was created by animation student Vincent Chai for a final project.
Milton Invented the Word Booya. The Daily Diversion.
Daily Diversion By Neil Miller on December 12, 2008 | Be the First To CommentThe Sarah Silverman program welcomes Stephen Root as the man who invented the word “booya.” Hmm, I never thought that Milton would play me in a TV show…
Sick Girl: Policing Your Local Theater. The Daily Diversion.
Daily Diversion By Neil Miller on December 11, 2008 | Comments (6)The video PSA featured today, which was sent over to me by our own lovable blood lover Rob Hunter, reminds me a lot of the pre-movie PSAs that one might see at the Alamo Drafthouse in Austin.
Quantum of Wallace. The Daily Diversion.
Daily Diversion By Neil Miller on December 10, 2008 | Comments (6)You may have been able to gather by now the fact that we love trailer mash-ups around here. And this mash-up, a mix of Quantum of Solace and Wallace and Gromit, has caught our attention.

Daily Diversion By Neil Miller on December 5, 2008 | Comments (8)n honor of the newly released action romp Punisher: War Zone, the latest in the line of Punisher movies, we went out into the depths of the internet to find some old school badassery, courtesy of Dolph Lundgren.
Let The Dark Campaign Begin. The Daily Diversion.
Daily Diversion By Neil Miller on December 3, 2008 | Comments (8)While Warner Bros. has already put up their For Your Consideration site for The Dark Knight, it appears that there are some fans that don’t see that being enough.
Star Trek vs. Star Wars. The Daily Diversion.
Daily Diversion By Neil Miller on December 2, 2008 | Comments (8)Personally I’ve always felt more comfortable on the Star Wars side of the fence, as fiction with base in more concrete science has always scared the begeesus out of me. I prefer my classic sci-fi with Wookies (to which I can relate) and Death Stars.
Crazy Spoiler Alert! The Daily Diversion.
Daily Diversion By Neil Miller on December 1, 2008 | Be the First To CommentI know that so many of you hate spoilers — for the record, I don’t like to be spoiled either — but if you are a real movie-loving die hard, then you’ve probably seen most of the 100 movies used in this clip.
