The first Crank film was on all-out assault on the senses, delivering action, sex and a level of badass that can only be delivered by the crazy minds of Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor. And now, with Crank 2, it appears that these two visionaries are doing what they can to raise the bar.

Crank 2 kickstarts the adrenaline with new cast members, and they start shooting in one week. If you haven’t seen the original, you’ve got some time. However, once you’ve seen it, it might shave a tick or two off of your heart’s life-expectancy. Then comes this sequel…

Every film that gets a release has an audience somewhere. From Star Wars to Zyzzyx Rd., every movie has a shot. And while Pathology is no Star Wars, it is certainly no Zyzzyx Rd. either.

It seems like the gang who brought us Crank, and haven’t even yet finished Crank 2, are going to bring us a Crank 3…IN 3-D!
