I started thinking about all the hype and general cooler-than-thou hipsterism that surrounds everything Tarantino/Rodriguez/Grindhouse, and things got ugly.

But sadly, not in an awesome shooting children way, like we saw in Terminator 2 and Terminator 3. In a marketing, PG-13 rating kind of way.

Ah sequels. Giving us more insight into the lives of the characters we love. Furthering the adventures of our greatest heroes. This is not about those kinds of sequels.

So the Academy Awards are over and even after last weeks explosion, I’m still angry.

Two hours of stand up comedy is not a film.

I’m not suggesting we stop buying Japanese goods. I am suggesting that Hollywood stop buying up every God damned piece of shit Japanese horror movie out there.

This is a chord everyone can hear, because it rings true to all ears - unless they belong to an executive at a studio.
