If you’re one of the many who loved Transformers 2 (a group that is not employed by the internet anywhere) or one of the people holding out hope that some sort of quality will be shot like a CGI rocket into the very heart of this franchise, then you might just have your spirits lifted by the opening scene to Transformers 3. The movie doesn’t come out until next Summer, but they’re filming right now, and if this scene is any indication, they are at least playing around with some interesting ideas. This spoils the entire opening. Consider yourself warned.

Either you’re really happy that Michael Bay is actively planning Transformers 3 already or you’re not. Either way, this news post should satisfy you.

Now that everyone on the planet has had a chance to see Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, to make hilarious YouTube videos calling out Rob Hunter’s review of it, and to send us emails about us covering the film too much – we’re covering it EVEN MORE. Does it matter that Transformers 2 is probably this summer’s worst movie? Sadly, no. It’s little more than crassly commercialized cinematic excess, but still some viewers and reviewers have latched blindly on to Bay’s teats as if they expect awesome-flavored milk to start splashing against their tongue. And yes, I am talking about all of FSR’s head honchos…

Judging by their output for Star Trek, Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, and The Proposal all in one summer, it seems like screenwriters Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman don’t sleep. And they won’t get to anytime soon. We caught them not napping in order to ask them about writing for Michael Bay and their upcoming Cowboys and Aliens.

That’s right haters! Watch yourself! Michael Bay is going to deliver not one, not two, but 42 giant robots. Plus, if you see it in IMAX, you’ll get to see Optimus Prime at his natural size.

It turns out that the marketing department pumping out toys is probably getting in the way of Michael Bay keeping a tight lid on his production of Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. Or is he misleading us by releasing fake toys? Well played, Mr. Bay.

Almost like clockwork, Paramount and Dreamworks are doing everything in their power to not let us forget about the production of Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen.
