SFotD: ‘Self Aware Bionic Robot DJ’ Battles Bigotry with a Musical Bridge
Features By Scott Beggs on January 9, 2013 | Be the First To CommentWhy Watch? Oh, Bionic Robot DJ, why are you so forlorn? Why do people attack you with cyber-prejudice when all you want to do is play music and lift weights in your living room? These are reasonable questions, and this short from Adam Worth and Brian Johnston seeks to answer them while pushing back against the bigotry that all robots must face. A charming, mostly ridiculous mockumentary, it teaches above all else, that society has a lot to learn about and gain from this boombox-headed being. If you just get to know him, you can stop the hate. What will it cost? Only 4 minutes and 20 seconds. Skip Work. You’ve Got Time For More Short Films.
