Three names emerge as Summit starts aiming at Oscar-caliber talent for the top job on its monster.

Before star Ashley Greene blew up by being cast in Twilight, this movie was called Summer’s Blood, a title which makes a whole hell of a lot more sense. But with the success of that teeny vamp movie, the movie was re-branded and the cover art tweaked to make Greene look more like a vampire, despite that having nothing to do with the story.

Catherine Hardwicke is looking to direct a new movie about werewolves and Little Red Riding Hood. Amanda Seyfried may star. So what does this have to do with Twilight, again?

Twilight star and all-around piece of meat Taylor Lautner has signed on to star in Universal’s upcoming toy-based film Stretch Armstrong, says Heat Vision. This 3D film will be made based on the line of Hasbro toys, and will likely make good money. Why? Because unlike his Twilight co-star Robert Pattinson, Lautner is seen as a bankable star.
