The Vintage Trailer of the Day is an American Tradition That Belongs to Anyone Who Loves Competition
Features By Scott Beggs on February 25, 2011 | Be the First To CommentEvery day, come rain or shine or internet tubes breaking, Film School Rejects showcases a trailer from the past. When you’re done driving angry, maybe you’ll want to go to the place where everyday feels like a Summer vacation. In this 1979 non-classic, a naive young man heads to the birthplace of crusing for the cars and ends up knee deep in strippers, thugs, and some mustachioed thing named The Chooch. Plus, the trailer actually interrupts itself to destroy two cars. If The Fast and the Furious wasn’t cribbed directly from this, I don’t know where it was stolen from. Think you know what it is? Check the trailer out for yourself:
Your Alternate Box Office: Angry Hall Passes and Heartbeats in 3D
Features By Scott Beggs on February 25, 2011 | Be the First To CommentWhether you’re trying to avoid the releases this week or augment them with even more movie, Your Alternate Box Office offers some options for movies that would play perfectly alongside of (or instead of) the stuff studios are shoving into the megaplex this weekend. This week features Nic Cage driving straight outta Hell, two jackasses trying as hard as they can to cheat on their wives, and a love triangle from Canada.
