Argghh… Captain Jack is back. And after hauling in over $1 billion dollars with last year’s Dead Man’s Chest, the Pirates franchise is no sinking ship. Johnny Depp returns as Jack Sparrow, the social awkward but infinitely entertaining Captain who is always making trouble somewhere. Of course, Orlando Bloom, Keira Knightley and Geoffrey Rush have also returned for what sources are saying will be the last big harrah for one of Disney’s most prolific franchises in history. Look for plenty of swashbuckling excitement and tons of box office booty when this one finally hits theaters. Oh, and did we mention a slick cameo from Keith Richards?

Bug
Director William Friedkin (The Hunted) delivers the story of a paranoid war veteran (Harry Connick Jr.) who sees insects everywhere. If that isn’t creepy enough, he ends up getting shacked up in a shady motel in Oklahoma with Ashley Judd. We know the Ashley Judd part isn’t creepy, but she hasn’t really been good in anything lately – so at the least it is not promising. Let the psychological arachnaphobes out there get a hold of this one and you may get some success. For the rest of us, who are terrified of bugs, this one is going to be an icky ride.
