The Silver Surfer has always been a very odd, but interesting comic book character. And now he will be surfing across the silver screen and battling against the Fantastic Four (Jessica Alba, Ioan Gruffudd, Chris Evans and Michael Chiklis) who are back for their second go-round with Director Tim Story. There was not a dry seat in the house of fanboy when this one was announced and there may not be an empty seat in theaters when it finally gets released.
Should you chase down The Silver Surfer? We will divulge that information as part of our week long coverage of the Fantastic Four and their return to the silver screen.

Other Wide Releases on June 15
Nancy Drew
Director Andrew Fleming (The Craft) brings to life one of the most popular teenage detectives of all time with this one. Emma Roberts plays Nancy, who travels with her father to Hollywood on a business trip and gets herself all caught up in the world of high school social politics and of course, murder. It’s Mean Girls meets Sherlock Holmes with the potential for some humor. Don’t be surprised though, if this one lays the cheese on thick.
I Could Never Be Your Woman
Both Director Amy Heckerling and actress Michelle Pfieffer used to be hot. Heckerling directed Clueless and Michelle Pfieffer was Catwoman, for God’s sake. But in recent years they have both gone to the wayside. Could a sitcom-ish story about a television producer (Pfieffer) who is being pursued by a younger man (Paul Rudd) get both of these fine ladies back on the map? Who knows. One thing is for sure, though… They will be back in the closing credits, at least.
Fido
Have you ever heard of a Zom-Com? After you see “Fido” you will have, and you will want to see more. Billy Connolly stars as Fido, a dead-undead house pet zombie who befriends little Timmy Robinson (K’Sun Ray). He also manages to catch the eye of Mrs. Robinson (Carrie-Anne Moss). But one thing you have to remember about Fido is that if you take his collar off, he will devour your flesh. This satirical Zombie flick set in the 1950′s looks to be one of the real unsung films of the entire year, so when it gets to your local theater, you may want to mosey on over and give it a look.
