July 27: Doh! The Simpsons hit the Big Screen!

Matt Groening created the television show “The Simpsons” all the way back in 1989. Since then it has become the longest running and arguable the most prolific television show in the history of mankind. So why not make a movie? The story of this film puts Homer Simpson and his family in a familiar spot, whereas Homer makes a big mistake and puts himself in a very tough spot and the entire Simpson crew must figure out a way to save Homer, save Springfield and save all of humanity. From the looks of the trailer and all the publicity stuff we have seen so far, there is no way that this one will be a let-down. Look for The Simpsons Movie to light up the late summer box office… one “doh!” at a time.

Will this little screen powerhouse make big screen history? Will Homer, Bart and the gang steal the summer show? We will have all the coverage as we dedicate an entire week to The Simpsons!
