I saw this movie last night with the Amazon special. A month ago I lost a friend, who was maybe 10 years older than Kyle, but regardless “too young to die”. He was my BF's best friend, and he's been the closest person to die in my life so far.

The film shocked me and it was pretty painful to watch some scenes, especially looking at what should be an empty shell of a body, but I really REALLY appreciated the direction of the film. Can't deny that I cried. A lot of reverence comes out from people who didn't even know the person (and pretend to know), and I find that the most disgusting thing about grieving.

Actually, Goldthwait’s directorial debut was "Shakes the Clown"(1991).

Thank you for this interesting and personal review. With the collaboration of writer/director Bob Goldthwait, Robin Williams, and Richard Kelly / Darko Entertainment this seemed the most interesting film going into this years Sundance festival.

Im still scarred from watching his first film. That intro threw me off. Waaaay off. No thank you. Ill be rocking myself to sleep in a corner somewhere. Bright sunny skies..smiling happy faces…..

I also love me some comedy blacker than Djimon Hounsou, so I'm looking forward to seeing this one.
