Saw "Winter's Bone" tonite - it will be hghly surprising if this doesnt win an Oscar next year for Best Screenplay, Best Picture, Best Actress. It truly is phenomenal - the story, the acting, how the characters really dont seem like they are acting. The star, Jennifer Lawrence, is incredible. My only criticism is that it its rural Ozarks dialect was so difficult to understand sometimes, that I felt like I was missing key moments of dialogue. It reminded me a little of "Precious," where you were sometimes so engrossed in the story that you became frustrated when you missed important dialogue. And If Im missing it at this age, how is someone in their 60's+ to get it? But besides that - I thought it was still definitely worth seeing. GO SEE IT EVERYONE!
