It's not too hard to imagine people living in a third world nation who spend their days plucking something to eat or to wear from the trash heaved over the walls from the city of those more well off. While I couldn't and wouldn't want to picture myself living like that, in their eyes, maybe I'm living like the characters portrayed in this film. Less that one percent of the world will truly be able to relate to the characters as portrayed. Who would want to? Everything is relative, I suppose.
