I thought it was a brilliant examination of character and development in a terrible situation. The moments of brutality punctuated the humdrum prison and were balanced with the spiritual/supernatural aspects - i wanted to watch it again as soon as it finished. Rahim is one to watch and was extraordinary considering that this is his first starring role. interesting to hear your view. for me this was my favourite movie of 2009.
