Sure, they do bring in the money. But the energy is always there and he is always funny, even in the crappy movies (for me at least). Though, I do kind of wish Carrey would do more serious roles. If I could pick from all the actors I know who surprised me the most with their performance, it'd be Jim Carrey in Eternal Sunshine. I never expected him to be so good.
