Wow Wow what is with all of the hate i mean my goodness. In it becouse he tried something new. Is it becouse this movie was not what you expected i mean oh my goodness. I thought this movie was flawed but i found it quite entertaining. The Film was a departure from 300 and Sin City. Heres a Question Ladies and Gentlemen were any of you familiar with The Spirit ahead of time.

I agree with Ronin on this… I always assumed they gave Miller that co-director credit on Sin City as an honorary thing anyway. The Spirit won't even be added to my Netflix queue. I'll save it for my next cross country flight…

Just because the guy sits next to Robert Rodriguez during Sin City and the slap a co director credit on it doesnt make him a director. He is a great writer and is a legend in the comic world, but come on who seriously thought it would be a good movie

I still want to see this out of pure curiosity but I don't think I will be paying ten bucks to do so. I should have known this was going to be bad so as my ex-gal pal told me she wanted to see it.

What a waste.

I never intended to see this movie and i never will. I believe an article was written recently about sellouts in hollywood. Well Frank Miller is one big sellout! Sorry Frank, but to be frank, i'd rather you go back to writing kickass comics, than try to direct a some A-listers (apart from Gabriel Macht) in a green screen. Sam Jackson seems to be the only one who at least read some of Will Eisner's comics. The rest of em seemed to be lost.

I couldn't agree with you more. In fact if there's a grade less than "F", The Spirit deserves it. I couldn't believe the lines of dialogue in the movie… Just plain ridiculous!

you cannot make a wrestler into a major league pitcher. with out the training and expierence required. just like you cant take a comic book ledgend, and hand him over to the movie industry. i think robert rodriguez should have held franks hands through this. id like to see robert put out a four issue limited out on wolverine. its just not possible, it would look like poo. nobody would buy it except the geeks that would think, but its gotta be good its rodriguez.
