I'm so glad that Disney finally created an African American Princess. I would have preferred that it was based in Africa after the many African Princesses like Hatshepsut, Amina, Njinga, Tata Ajache, Taytu Bethul, and Elizabeth of Toro.

Hmm, that's strange. I don't see anyone saying "THIS story's been done before" like they're wailing away on Avatar ;) It doesn't get much more foundational than this as far as a story and fairy tale. I'm eager to see this but will wait for the DVD/Blu-ray set which would be outstanding feature-wise. Thanks for the review!

Wow, number 1 at box office now. But I think for animation movie, I prefer the Pixar's such as RATATOUILLE.
Well I haven't see it yet, but I hope I can enjoy watch The Princess and the Frog.
Thanks for your review.

Well it sounds good, though perhaps I was expecting more from it. And perhaps that was expecting too much. Not every Disney movie can be the Lion King, which is definitely my favorite Disney movie, and probably one of my favorite films of all time.
