This review is ignorant, while it may be entertaining it hardly offers insight into the day to day lives of the vast majority of these people. This movie is truly a perfect example of globalization AND exploitation that comes with it… Indian slums being exploited by Western movie-makers and the media for a story and profit … terrible. The director pays the kids crap and uses their hardships to make himself famous… while creating an entertaining movie that goons like these people see and are moved. Do you people realize that the child actors in this movie are STILL living in these garbage, violence, and disease stricken areas…

indeed…india is an extraordinary, fantastic and amazing country. But there are things that can't be accepted and digested by a typical civillized minds happening all around (not only india). Why should we focus on something positive and neglect something negative happening behind the screen? Will we agree if a man who is feeding 10 people has a right to kill 1 person? Bad is still bad. Crime is still crime. Poverty is still poverty.

this was the most up its self movie i have seen in a long time. all about male dominance and money. can no-one see that? I thought it was manipulative, predictive and cliched. get a life SM fans, see a real movie, or better yet, go and live life.
