brilliant another brilliant movie from pixar! loved the expressions from carl and the grass scene (above) is an amazing scene and hats of to the lighting staff! pete docter please direct again! the thing that also amazes me is the behind the scene staff and directors that put into the final sequence amazing!

I loved your review!! I'm happy to see that most people catched the essence and message of the film!!!, this is truly the first big picture of 09!, and without a doubt, one of the classics that will remain forever!!!, I cried as well and it really touched my heart!!, definitely an A+

Not every single kids' movie has to have a 'green' message. I'm pretty sure the kids got it by now. What with the countless commercials, movies and TV shows shoving it down their throats every chance they get.
And I'm pretty sure the kids won't be tempted to fly their house to South America and throw all their junk out the door because of this movie.
And it was just that; a movie.

I don't get it, I've read all of these great reviews and then I watched it… it was okay. Beginning was nice an heartfelt, but the ending was so-so (flying dogs and 110 year old villain?) and predictable (of course the kid is going to get the bottle cap badge). It's funny though how Wall-E was about how man polluted the Earth so badly that it became uninhabitable (hey, a great message for the kids to protect the environment), yet what does the main character in "UP do in this beautiful south american paradise… dumps all of his junk all over it (realize it's part of the story, but should have had a pic in the ending montage of him and the kid cleaning up his mess).

I thought that Wall-E was a much, much better film and as far as the "entertainment" factor goes… the Incredibles is still my favorite Pixar film. B-

I loved the movie UP. And it made me cry. ;-;
But it also made me laugh and it was a really nice experience.
I kind of want to see it in theatres again, but I'm saving to buy games for a new PS2 because my sister has stolen the shared one away to college.
I feel like a hard core fan.
I really hope that the movie UP is very profitable and a lot of people watch it! It was really great! It must be recognized! People must know how great the movie is!
I don't know about little kids anymore. I remember in the theatres at teh sad parts, I heard a little kid who was sad… Although I had tears trickling down my cheek.

What a great movie. And for those who say it doesn't appeal to young children, my 4 year-old son sat through the entire movie without falling asleep or losing interest. We both loved it.

I thought "Up" was the first great animated film of the summer. I thought "Coraline" was the first great movie of 2009 and "Star Trek" the first great film of the summer. Those were the only three I gave five stars.

Loved it. It's the first Pixar to make me cry. It's been a loong time since an animated movie hasn't treated children as idiots. That's why this generation sucks so much. So long as Pixar can crank out quality animated movies, there may be some hope yet.

What a great movie!!!…This guys of pixar really make good movies!!!…First in 2007 was RATAOUILLE,..then in 2008 was W.A.L.L-E…and now Up.,,,What a great script and animation,,,Very good movie…simply perfect.
