Also V didn't have the aspects like the previous films had, this was most likely to try tying up any loose ended questions that were at the top of our mind at the end of IV, excluding is Gordon alive(?) and what's in Jill's box(?). Why did they make the decision to let Jigsaw die in the first place if they wanted to keep making these? SAW IV wasn't a bad movie, but at times I got the feeling they were stretching to keep Jigsaw involved. My advice: Take a year off from the SAW films. Figure out how to reinvent the franchise a bit. Figure out a way to bring Jigsaw back. Hell, use the old soap opera trick of giving him a twin brother. The coolest thing about SAW II - IV is the whole soap opera aspect anyway.
