That sounds like the filmmakers problem. Of it's really that important he should have put it in the film. Facebook posts and Internet readings/prequel comic books/ whatever else are for SUPPLEMENTAL material NOT crucial material.

Dude. You're totally right. Even though a film should be worth it alone with plot and everything that goes into it, you still realize you paid out the ass for something the length of an episode of heroes.

i think following the back story on facebook probably was very beneficial for this movie, shame more people werent doing it. the scientist that created the AI that wiped out humanity didnt make it as a weapon, it was stolen from him by a hitleresque “chancellor” who proceeded to weaponize it. so the review was a little off in the details surrounding that but overall i still want to see the movie despite the negatives
