oh, and you said he killed the cop with a scalpal. i really dont think you have seen this movie because he quite clearly shoots him with his own gun. 1. because you hear the gunshot and the other cop goes ape, and 2. because when the other cop walks in he does have the gun in his hand

you said they were sewn together….then later said she could have ripped the staples out…well if you had actually genuinly watched it then you would know they they were attatched via their digestive tubes….maning the japanese guy’s intestnies followed through into the girls mouth and her’s to the girl behind her’s mouth. AND….you said it was “no way near biologically accurate” when actually it is. it was researched by a top surgeon and granted by many others. i think you went over the top with the critisism. dont get me wrong, the film’s awful.

I thought this film was awesome. These things don't necessarily have to make sense for the film to be “enjoyable”. This film is for people that just watched the screen with an open mouth and a constant 'oh no' or 'EEWWWW' thought running through their heads!

It makes a difference if the reviewer understands and appreciates the genre itself. Otherwise, it’s not really much of a review. Like having a lactose intolerant review milkshakes. Yeah, he’s not gonna like any of them, and he’s gonna say it’s because they made him bloated and flatulent. That doesn’t help the rest of us.

When someone reviews a dark comedy that obviously was made with a tounge-in-cheek (ho ho) attitude, and spends most of the review talking about logical inconsistencies, and that police work and biology is portraied in a faulty manner, etc… It just becomes clear that he doesn’t have a clue what is going on. The tagline “100% medically accurate” is of course *ironic*, but this reviewer thought it was some sort of statement, and got frustrated because that statement isn’t accurate. If he had understood what genre the movie was, none of that would have happened.

If it wasn’t important that reviewers had some knowledge about genres and filmmaking; then they could just blurt out whatever opinions they might have, no matter how meaningless or stupid those opinions would be *to other people*.

Dark Comedy? On what planet? in order to be considered a comedy dark or otherwise it has to be funny and this clusterf*** draged on and on and lacked anythingh that would be considered in the least bit clever. Oh and im not a total dummy I did get the film i got that it was CRAP.

Whether or not a random group of three people chose it as a winner is irrelevant. And I'm certainly not saying "Fuck you" to anyone. I'm just giving my impression of the film.

That being said...I have yet to hear any cogent arguments about why the film is good.

It has massive plot holes, bland characters that act in whatever way will allow for the next scene to occur, and a shock-concept that's not presented all that shockingly. So we are left with a horror film that's not scary (except that scene where he explains the surgery), a supposed comedy film that's not (intentionally) funny or a gross out movie that's not all that gross. Where's the merit?

No hate speech allowed? That entire review was a hate speech… Anyway, I agree with a few things. The scene when the jap kills himself with the glass is absolutely ridiculous. The acting at the start was dismal. What about the scene when the centipede drags itself up the stairs, drenching the stairs with blood, then the very next scene the stairs are completely clean – unforgivable mistake. Everything else was OK, but it could have been better for sure. Personally I hate the japanese character.

I think that this film isn't for people like you. it is a beautifull movie because it's absoulutely no-sense, you can love it or hate but in its category is one of the best movie i ever seen.
It's full of errors and problems but that make it amazing, Dieter Laser and
Akihiro Kitamura where fantastic in their respective roles.The two police officers part it's really funny and i enjoyed it very much.

For me is a 9/10.

What difference does it make what genre it is? Dr. Cole made it abundantly clear that he did not enjoy the movie on any level, except the concept and a scene or two.
