I liked this movie!!
It was different, and asked and then attempted to answer the question – what if TOO many humans are turned into vampires?
This is no romance, and the action was at times startling..
A damn good movie that made me think. Another movie might address how the vampire plague first came about, anyway.

I went to see this tonight. I do admit it started out well, but towards the end I felt it went over the top, so much that I could not help laughing silently which kinda ruined the movie for me..but it is entertaining

Are you kidding me….A, only if A stands for Awful. The pathetic car chase, the ridiculous ambush with a dart taking out a van and the rest standing around to get caught, the cure only being distributed by sacrificing themselves to be eaten, all of these and many more ridiculous scenes lead to this comment….It is a bad movie period. If this is what you consider an 'A' film, I think I will immediately go and see whatever you don't like.

Got to see this tonight, but unfortunately missed the end (needed toilet really bad, was holding it most of the film :P) so if anyone can enlighten me (via email) of what happened after Ethan's character is taken to Sam Neil that would be great!

I'm really looking forward to seeing this. It gives January hope.

However, I'm a gore wimp so I have to ask how does it rank? 28 Days Later level. (Which is heavy for me, but acceptable.) Or are we talking Saw level gore?

Dude, that is excellent!
About time we got a intelligent vampire movie after that POS that is Twilight and the whole fad about it right now.
Really like how you describe the social commentary behind the film and it is something I look forward to (along with Pandorum, even if it's getting canned by everybody else).
Can't wait til next year.
