I have to say, as much as a Disney fanatic as I am, i have been fighting a losing battle trying to defend some of their latest works (pirates excluded). Enchanted is one of the best I have seen in a while, most notably for the fact that it manages to make fun of the entire concept of a fairytale movie while still maintaining the integrity of one. The song and dance through Central Park is amazing (you can feel a song coming on, but you never expect it to go as far as it does) and though the beginning is a bit rushed, personally I think that only adds to the parody of the fairy tale.
As for Amy Adams she is the perfect embodiment of an animated princess. Pay careful attention to her hand gestures. Ever notice how cartoon princess always have very expressive and delicate hand movements? Adams replicates them perfectly. Definitely one to see.
