I wonder if that was done to "appease" the fading actress need for enough camera time? Anyway, I still enjoyed that heck out of the movie. I loved putting a "persona" to those "voices" that many serial killers claim drive them to murder. I personally think people were too hard on this film. I'm guessing it will be more successful on DVD and cable movie channels. My wife and I caught this at the local theater a week or two after its release. We had the theater to ourselves and were able to MST3K our way through it loudly and frequently. From that perspective, yeah, this is a fun movie. I am morbidly curious to see how "The New Daughter" turns out. I think we all agree he can rock, given the right material. “Grade: B” indeed.
