New Frightening Poster for Pixar’s ‘Up’

For those of you who had the privilege of attending Comic-Con this year or had the privilege of hearing me rant about how terrifying and fearsome the Up-themed elevator, you know that making the entire interior of an elevator look like clouds is a bad idea. Especially if a girl dressed like Spider-Woman made you down an entire bottle of $5 whiskey before heading up to her room. Even sober, stepping into a box that makes it look like you’re 1,000 feet up in mid-air is a terror-inducing experience.

Now, you can gaze upon that terror for yourself:

Just in time for Halloween, I know. If the fear hasn’t gripped you too seriously, you’ll be able to make out that it’s a house being kept afloat by a giant bundle of balloons. Up is the next in a long line of automatically successful Disney/Pixar features. It tells the story of a geriatric hero who floats around the planet fighting off bad guys and monsters. As per Pixar regulations, a heart-warmingly adorable sidekick will be involved.
