Anyone that didn’t vote for Bond is crazy, I agree with the first post whole-heartedly. The people got it right in the number 2 choice as well. Jack Bauer is the biggest badass in TV history, I don’t need to see anything else. Bond and Bauer for my money any day!!

I again raise the objection that Jason Bourne is not a spy. You even use the word spy in this post, so no crap about “we’re talking about secret agents”. even if it is about secret agents, Jason Bourne was a frickin assassin in the movies. just because he used aliases doesn’t make him a secret agent, he didnt go undercover in other governments, or crime organizations. he just killed people.

also, the books’ storylines’ are way better than the movies. Carlos the Jackal!

I hate to say it but Bond is the best secret agent of all time. Although Pierce Brosnon or Connery for that matter, couldn’t kick anyone’s ass, Bond is still the best. I love Daniel Craig, but I would have liked to have seen Clive Owen as 007. Bourne and Bauer come in a close second (they can at least break some skulls).
