Actually the Autobots had tried to communicate and talk Decepticons out their evil ways but ultimately were killed after doing so. Like the prime before Optimus, Sentinel Prime tried to talk Megatron out of being evil. Megatron killed Sentinel. In-fact only Primus knows how many times Optimus had been merciful with his brother, intentionally miss any and all shots at him, or if he did hit him, Megatron wasn’t affected by it.

Sorry, but have to disagree with everything you've said. Simply watch the movie again, and all the issues you've raised are answered. I don't get you Americans, you think you're so smart, when this movie has clearly gone over your heads and YOU JUST DIDN'T GET IT. I had the privilege of watching a pirated copy a few times. Get the blu-ray or dvd. And don't spew this garbage for the sake of looking intelligent.

You nailed it. This was by far the worst movie I've ever seen, and I really enjoyed Transformers 1.
It would be interesting though, when a good director creates a Transformer movie without human beings in it. After all, it's a film about Robots and they should be the stars.

Oh, I can name two positive things about Revenge of the Fallen: the battle between Optimus and 4 decepticons was pretty cool, and I know for sure now that I will never watch a Michael Bay movie again. This flick just saved some bucks for me.

This is all true.

But I saw this at a true iMAX. So, honestly, just seeing a movie on a 6-story-screen with 12,000 Watts surround sound is enough to be entertaining. I will say that the introduction that showed off the surround sound and the screen were actually more fun than the movie itself, though…

Alright already, we understand you didn't like it but seriously this isn't Schindler's List. It's a movie based on toys, what do you want? It's meant to entertain, get the stick out of your @%* and enjoy it. Yes Mudcrap and Skid Marks, whatever there names are, are stupid, and human Decepticons was utterly dumb, its still a movie based on toys. You can't go into the theater and review this movie like its Saving Private Ryan. Lighten up, honestly I would love to see what you could have done with a script based on toys. It would have been two hours of dialogue and 30 mins. of robot fighting. Bay gave the people what they wanted, and by calling the audience stupid idiots for enjoying this movie is rude and immature. And the fact that you liked Independence Day is answer enough to the movies you like, because that movie was the toilet paper Transformers uses in the restroom.

My only complaint was the childish behavior, that i had hoped would not happened after Bumble Bee was peeing on the agent in the first film. I was wrong, Devastator has wreaking balls! What function would that serve. Or the male ass shot (which was worse in Imax). The worse offense was a scene with Skids and Mud Flap, and a little boy (no more that five) yelled out “Mom I have that Car.”

Thank you so much for writing this. Not just for tearing this abysmal movie apart, which has been done many times over, but for specifically addressing those who actually enjoyed and are defending it. Every time I see someone say they liked it, or hell, didn’t totally hate it, I die a little inside. If Transformers: ROTF (No way that wasn’t intentional) had been a satire of everything wrong with Hollywood, I would have criticized it for not being subtle enough.

Everyone on here talking about losing respect for FSR because some of the staff loved Transformers need to pull their heads out of their asses. I love how if “you” think the movie sucks, than anyone who likes the movie is stupid, including journalists who owe you absolutely nothing other than being honest. Transformers is polarizing, either you love it or hate it but no one here is in a position to tell others they are dumb for liking it. Just because you have every Kurosawa Criterion DVD doesn’t make you the be all and end all of deciding what movies are actually good.

Oh, and Salvation did a little over $120 mil domestic box office, Transformers is at $90 mil already, and Terminator had Batman in it. So McG deserves an apology for turning one of the most successful action franchises into a piece of shit that couldn’t even beat out Night at the Museum 2 on its opening weekend. Come on man, really?
