It has the dark atmosphere, characters full of normal human emotions, epic soundtracks, great casts, & so many other things that'll take too long to name. Batman Forever is entertaining, but Batman & Robin is complete $H!T as a Batman film with its over the top action, campiness, homosexual overtones (nothing against homosexuals, but you don't do that to Batman), God-awful script, etc. Batman Begins is sort of boring at times & it clashes w/ the realism it's trying to show. The Dark Knight is tied w/ Forever b/c it didn't capture the real Batman universe like the Burton films did, but it's still entertaining. Burton's Batman is the BEST live action of the Batman universe.
