Though I'm sad to see a Canadian legacy go, I can't say I'm going to miss it much. I was much more upset when Sam the Record Man closed up shop - simply because they had something unique: one of the best collections of indie/local/hard to find CD's in Vancouver. The end of an era for sure. Funny, I haven’t been into Music World in years and I can tell you why: It’s hard to find stuff in there, they’re employees aren’t as knowledgeable as they used to be and their stores are all dark and dingy looking (even if they’re not really dark and dingy).

Though I’m sad to see a Canadian legacy go, I can’t say I’m going to miss it much. I was much more upset when Sam the Record Man closed up shop – simply because they had something unique: one of the best collections of indie/local/hard to find CD’s in Vancouver.
