But what I can't believe is no nominations for either Ben Foster or Peter Fonda in 3:10 to Yuma. Each of them held their own, and at times even outshined, Bale and Crowe, two of the finest actors out there. I absolutely adored Fonda in his part and felt he really deserved some recognition. I loved Ed Harris in “Gone Baby Gone ” this year, but it wasn’t an Oscar type role. But what I can’t believe is no nominations for either Ben Foster or Peter Fonda in 3:10 to Yuma. Each of them held their own, and at times even outshined, Bale and Crowe, two of the finest actors out there. I absolutely adored Fonda in his part and felt he really deserved some recognition.
