I go back and forth as to which “Office” I prefer. Granted, the American version has run longer, thus more endearing, but the British one was far more irreverent and fresh and wasn’t afraid to have you just hate David Brent.

Plus no moment on the American version has been as sad as when Brent begs not to be made redundant.

Might I add that he was just on Conan the other night and it was probably one of the funniest interviews I’ve seen in a while. Gervais + Conan = Best
