I don't know if this film hits your list, but I just finished converting Nosferatu into 3D. I wrote about it for Creative Cow magazine (page 23 of the pdf).

All of the Star Wars movies are going to be released in 3D. Its virtually assured.

And not even 3D could make 2001: A Space Odyssey interesting.

TRON. I wouldn’t doubt it if the so called remake will be done in 3-D. And I bet some people thought it was originally made in 3-D by what they might or might not have taken before they went to see the movie when it came out in the 80′s.

Hitchcock’s “The Birds” was actually planned (& filmed, I think, maybe?) in 3D, but the
test audiences were so shocked that it was scrapped and the 2D footage was used.

Actiony/fantasy/sc-fi films are the obvious choice because there’s more chances of getting stuff flying towards you. Yup, Star Wars and Fantasia would be really cool in 3D…

Haha, I figured Citizen Kane would be on the list somewhere. :) (And FWIW, Taxi Driver would look good in ANY format)
